miroSOUND drivers v1.01 for Windows NT
            ======================================

General:

This driver is suited for the following sound boards:

miroSOUND PCM1 pro (MIDI output only possible via external devices)
miroSOUND PCM12
miroSOUND PCM12 Rev. E
miroSOUND PCM12pnp
miroSOUND PCM20radio

For all other sound boards (PCM10, FM10), you can use the
generic Windows NT Opti drivers for the 929 chip.
You can obtain these from the WWW under http://www.opti.com.

You can use the miroSOUND PCM20 radio component with the help of
the supplied radio application. Please install the radio application
separately after you installed the Windows NT drivers.

Installation:

For a successful installation of the drivers, the sound board
must be inserted in the computer, the system must be started
and the user must have logged in with administrators rights.
To install the software, use the Multimedia Control applet
in the Control Panel.
To start the installation dialog, click START/Control Panel/
Multimedia/Devices/Add. Select "Unlisted or Updated Driver
from the list" and select the drive and the path to the directory
of the sound driver.

After the drivers have been copied, the configuration dialog
appears. Here you can select the addresses and the interrupts
for the sound board.
The "Properties" button opens an additional dialog.
Here you can adjust the PCM1 pro audio amplifier and make
the settings you do not need that often.

When choosing the I/O port addresses and interrupts, please pay
attention to conflicts that might occur with other system
hardware. The driver checks out used resources.
Windows NT is not Plug&Play capable so that the system might
crash after you pressed the OK button when the selected resources
have been occupied by other hardware components.

After you restarted the system, the sound board is active.

Tips and tricks:

If the sound board outputs a stuttering sound after you restarted
the computer, the interrupt is used by another device. In this
case, open the Multimedia Installation dialog again and press the
Settings button. In doing so, you access the configuration
dialog without having to install the driver once again.
Now, select the free interrupt.
